BMW Williams-F1 driver, Mark Webber topped the times today [Wednesday] at Silverstone, as the Grove based squad continued their preparations for the Spanish Grand Prix, in two weeks time.
Webber managed 101 laps in total, his best a 1 minute 20.121 seconds, while focusing on set-up work and tyre testing for Barcelona. Although running was again affected by rain, conditions improved this afternoon, when the temperature increased and the track began to dry out.

Nico Rosberg meanwhile made his debut as Williams' official second test driver, the German completing 57 laps while familiarising himself with the car, in addition to working on set-ups and pit stops.
"On the second day at Silverstone circuit, Mark Webber completed just over one hundred laps while carrying out a range of tyre tests in preparation for the Spanish GP next weekend. Meanwhile Nico Rosberg, the team's new second test driver, made a solid debut today, registering nearly 300 kilometers," said Williams test team manager, Tim Newton.
"As he hasn't driven the FW27 before, Nico spent the session acclimatising himself and carrying out systems checks."
Jordan meanwhile were also on track, having joined proceedings today, test driver, Nicky Pastorelli completing 25 laps in the Toyota powered EJ15, while race driver, Tiago Monterio managed 55, and was over a second slower.
