A member of the McLaren team has died following an accident at the team hotel in Budapest as preparations continue for this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
A team spokesperson told Crash.net, that investigations into the death of 29-year-old Darren Hawker were ongoing after the accident on Wednesday morning.
"Darren Hawker, a chef working for McLaren's catering company Absolute Taste, tragically died in an accident at his hotel in Budapest," the spokesperson said. "The exact circumstances of Darren's death are still being investigated by the relevant authorities.
