Heidfeld completes more miles with F1.06.
Nick Heidfeld continued testing with the new BMW Sauber F1.06 Wednesday at Valencia, following his first outing with the car on Tuesday.
The German enjoyed a productive day, clocking up a further 68 laps, after completing 29 on day one - his best time a 1 minute 12.440 seconds.
His programme focussed on initial set-up work and measurements of the engine and gearbox systems.

Heidfeld's team-mate, Jacques Villeneuve meanwhile, who will get his first go in the F1.06 Thursday, was once again at the wheel of the interim car, the Sauber C24B. The Canadian managed 92 laps and was around a second slower, his best a 1m 13.422s. Villeneuve's job was to evaluate Michelin's latest tyres, while also running a series of systems checks.
The BMW Sauber team are now due to conclude their three-day test at Valencia on Thursday.
