BMW heralds return of Dell deal.

BMW Sauber have announced that IT specialists Dell will be extending their partnership with the manufacturer to Formula One, with their logo appearing on Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve's sidepods and helmets for qualifying at the European Grand Prix.

The multi-year deal is the latest in a long relationship between the two brands, with Dell sponsoring BMW's Le Mans effort in 1999, returning in 2005 to support the German Formula BMW Championship, while the two 320si Team Deutschland saloons in the World Touring Car Championship also adorn the Dell logo.

The new cooperation as Official Partner of the BMW Sauber F1 Team means that Dell products will also be used at the Formula 1 facilities in Munich and Hinwil as well as on the race tracks. Also the BMW Sauber F1 Team.s new Pit Lane Park is supported by Dell.
