Silverstone is fantastic, says Barrichello.

Honda's Rubens Barrichello has said that he is feeling 'fairly comfortable' going to Silverstone this weekend for the British GP.

The Brazilian had a difficult start to the season with his new team, but has gone better of late and while he was generally outperformed by Jenson Button early on, the situation has changed of late. Indeed at the Monaco GP two weeks ago, he was on course for a podium until he picked up a drive-through penalty, eventually coming home fourth, to score points for the third event in succession - and the fourth this season.

Rubens finished seventh last year at the British GP, while he was on the podium in 2004, 2003, 2002 and 2001, winning the event in '03.

"Silverstone is just a fantastic circuit," he noted. "It's a high-speed track with some challenging corners, and although overtaking can be a bit difficult around here, it's a track that I really enjoy driving.

"I've spent a great deal of time both testing and racing at Silverstone since I was young, so it holds some special memories for me. Of course the most special of those is my win from pole position back in 2003."

Barrichello was testing last week at Barcelona, running on days one and two alongside Button. The former Ferrari driver was pleased with the work done, which included finalising car set-up and tyre choice for the Silverstone race.

"We had a solid test in Barcelona last week to prepare for Silverstone, looking specifically at the car set-up and the tyres for this race, so I'm feeling fairly comfortable going into the weekend," he concluded.
