Goodwood Revival participants revealed.

A bevy of Formula One stars from the past and present will be making an appearance at September's Goodwood Revival, reliving the days of the Goodwood Motor Circuit which - along with Silverstone - was Britain's leading racing venue during its active years between 1948 and 1966.

Taking place between 1st - 3rd of September, the circuit echoes to the spine-tingling bark of golden-age Grand Prix cars from the Fifties and Sixties, thundering sports and GT cars, as well as historic saloon cars and little-seen Formula Juniors.

Many of these important historic racing cars are driven by famous faces from motor sport past and present. Sir Stirling Moss, John Surtees, Sir Jack Brabham, Phil Hill, Derek Bell, David Coulthard, Damon Hill, Gerhard Berger, Johnny Herbert, Wayne Gardner, Giacomo Agostini and the late, great Barry Sheene have all taken part at the Revival.

The Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration and the St Mary's Trophy races offer two very challenging and different aspects of motor racing and bring lots of excitement to the sport.

The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy race is the only motorcycle race of the weekend but brings some modern racers together with some classic machines from the 1950s.

A total of 58 drivers have been confirmed and the they include some legendary names from Formula One, Le Mans, touring cars, Rallying and two-wheeled racing...

Rauno Aaltonen, 1960s rallying and road-racing legend, will drive a Standard Ten (St. Mary's Trophy), and is also expected to drive in the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration.Rowan Atkinson, actor and comedian, will drive a Jaguar Mk VII (St. Mary's Trophy).
