Spyker reveals new media backers for China.
The recently-renamed Spyker MF1 Racing team has secured its first new sponsors, following confirmation that it will introduce Zecco.com and Eccky.com at the next round of the world championship, in Shanghai next weekend.
Both companies will have their logos displayed prominently on the team's cars, the two race cars driven by Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro, and third machine whose pilot has yet to be confirmed as Spyker evaluates various options from both within its inherited testing corps and from interested outsiders, such as Christian Klien.

"After the announcement that the team had been sold last week, we have been approached by several companies who would like to join the team," team principal Colin Kolles revealed, "This proves we are moving in the right direction.
"Both of these new partners are new media companies, which is a target area - alongside telecoms, entertainment and luxury brands - as we go forward. We are delighted to confirm Zecco.com and Eccky.com as new, revolutionary and hip partners. It is the next step in our new beginning, and we hope to announce more good news in China."
Spyker's Dutch roots no doubt helped to attract the new backers, both of which were introduced to the team by the GR8industries.com brand and motorsports marketing agency operating in the Benelux region. Zecco.com offers online financial services, while Eccky.com is an interactive internet game where two parents can make, name and raise a virtual child.
