Alfonso Celis Jr gets Force India shot for Mexican GP FP1
Force India test driver Alfonso Celis Jr has been handed an FP1 outing at his home race this weekend in the Mexican Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
Celis Jr, a frequent call-up during pre-season and in-season testing for Force India, will receive his third FP1 outing of 2017 having also appeared in Austria and Hungary.

Celis Jr, a frequent call-up during pre-season and in-season testing for Force India, will receive his third FP1 outing of 2017 having also appeared in Austria and Hungary.
The 21-year-old also made five FP1 appearances for the Silverstone-based team in 2016 having joined the squad’s ranks at the start of last season. Celis Jr currently competes in the World Series Formula V8 championship and sits fourth in the drivers’ championship with one round remaining.
Celis Jr will take over Esteban Ocon's car to see an all-Mexican line-up for the team alongside Sergio Perez at their home race in Mexico City.
