Verstappen reveals helmet design for F1 2018
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has unveiled his new helmet design for the 2018 Formula 1 season.
In a post on social media, Verstappen said he had “kept quite a few personal elements from the helmets I have used throughout my career” for his latest design, which he revealed in a video on Twitter.
The Dutchman explained how he has kept his design relatively true to last season, with minor changes including a new dark blue top featuring alongside a red lion to blend into his colour scheme for the rest of the helmet more effectively.

Verstappen will be hoping Red Bull’s 2018 challenger - the RB14 - will prove ‘luckier’ than its predecessor, the RB13, after enduring a frustrating 2017 campaign plagued by reliability failures scattered around two victories.
Here it is, my helmet for the 2018 season! We’ve kept quite a few personal elements from the helmets I have used throughout my career. I hope you guys like it as much as I do! #season2018 #VforVerstappen pic.twitter.com/rMOQjLccot
