While Kvyat is yet to appear at any races as part of Ferrari's team, the Russian was able to get his first taste of the SF71-H car on Friday as he completed the latest Pirelli tyre development test.
Ferrari youngster Antonio Giovinazzi put in the laps on Thursday before handing over to Kvyat, who was tasked with helping Pirelli in the development of its wet compound tyres for 2019.
