Images of proposed Miami F1 circuit layout revealed
The first images of the planned Miami Formula 1 street circuit have been revealed ahead of its proposed inclusion on the F1 calendar from 2019.
Earlier this week it emerged that Miami representatives are in negotiation with F1 commercial rights holders Liberty Media about hosting a race in the Florida city, with the sport’s owners keen to try and crack the American market by adding a second venue in addition to the United States Grand Prix in Austin.

Plans for a scheduled event for October 2019 will be considered in a vote set to be held next Thursday at a meeting of the city commission.
The track, which incorporates elements of downtown Miami previously used for IMSA, CART and Formula E races, would see F1 cars pass around the American Airlines Arena - home of the Miami Heat NBA team - run down Biscayne Boulevard and also feature a high-speed section across a bridge along Port Boulevard.
