Teams load up on Hypersofts for Monaco GP
Pirelli has confirmed all 10 Formula 1 teams' tyre choices for next weekend's Monaco Grand Prix when the Hypersoft compound will make its race weekend debut.
In a bid to spice up strategies in F1 this year, Pirelli announced at the end of last season it would be introducing a new compound that was one step softer than the Ultrasoft for 2017, christening it the Hypersoft.
The new compound was confirmed to be debuting at Monaco earlier this year, with Pirelli releasing the team's tyre selections for the race on Tuesday.

All teams have elected to load up on Hypersofts, taking at least nine sets, but Red Bull, Williams and Renault have all decided to go for the maximum of 11 sets. All three teams will have just one set of Supersofts and one set of Ultrasofts available per driver for the race weekend.
Ferrari, Force India, Toro Rosso and Sauber will all have 10 sets of Hypersofts, while Mercedes, Haas and McLaren went for the more conservative option of nine sets, giving them more flexibility with the harder compounds in Pirelli's range.
