Force India confirms Hungary F1 test line-up
Force India has confirmed its two test drivers Nicholas Latifi and Nikita Mazepin will return to action at the final in-season Formula 1 test immediately after the Hungarian Grand Prix, while the Canadian driver will also take part in FP1 at the German Grand Prix.
In a move favoured by many teams at the in-season test, Force India will relieve race drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon of testing duties at the Hungaroring following the race to allow Latifi and Mazepin further F1 track time.

In a move favoured by many teams at the in-season test, Force India will relieve race drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon of testing duties at the Hungaroring following the race to allow Latifi and Mazepin further F1 track time.
Latifi will be on driver duties on the opening day of the test in Hungary (July 31st) before Mazepin takes over for the second day (August 1st).
In addition to the test, Latifi will take part in his second FP1 of the season following his debut at his home event in Canada last month. The 23-year-old will drive Ocon’s VJM11 in FP1 at Hockenheim to gain further experience working with the team during a race weekend.
Latifi will not have the added pressure of his Formula 2 campaign with the series missing the German round before returning to action in Hungary the week after.
Mazepin will also be competing at the Hungaroring the weekend before the F1 test in the GP3 Series with ART Grand Prix. The Russian won the opening race of the 2018 campaign, his maiden GP3 race, while he has secured a further podium and currently stands fourth in the drivers’ championship.
