McLaren reveals launch date for 2019 F1 challenger
McLaren will launch its 2019 Formula 1 car on the 14th February, four days prior to the start of pre-season testing in Barcelona.
The Woking-based squad has become the latest team to confirm its launch plans for the upcoming season, selecting a date that immediately follows reveals by Renault on February 12 and Racing Point on February 13.

Ferrari’s car launch comes a day later with February 15 the date the Scuderia unveils the car it hopes will take the team back to championship-winning ways, before the opening pre-season test at the Spanish Grand Prix between February 18-21.
McLaren will field an entirely revised driver line-up in 2019, with Formula 2 runner-up Lando Norris promoted alongside Carlos Sainz, who joins from Renault to replace the triple crown-seeking Fernando Alonso.
Another orange-based livery has been hinted for the MCL34, a car McLaren hopes will turnaround the team's recent fortunes and improve on the sixth place finish it achieved in the constructors' championship in 2018 following its switch from Honda to Renault engines.
