Albon ruled out of China qualifying after FP3 crash
Toro Rosso has confirmed Alexander Albon will take no part in qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix on Saturday as a result of car damage.
Albon crashed heavily at the final corner in the closing stages of final practice at the Shanghai International Circuit earlier today, leaving his STR14 chassis with significant damage.
While Albon himself was unhurt in the shunt and cleared by medical staff at the track, Toro Rosso has confirmed that the Thai racer will take no part in qualifying due to the state of his car.
