Formula 1 returns to the Red Bull Ring for this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen dominated the Styrian Grand Prix from pole position, beating Lewis Hamilton by over 35 seconds to claim his third victory at Red Bull’s home track.

The main variable for this weekend is that Pirelli is bringing softer tyres for the race - C3, C4 and C5, as opposed one step harder for Styria.

Verstappen has a 18-point lead over Hamilton in the drivers’ championship, while Red Bull leads Mercedes by 40 points in the constructors’.

When is the Austrian Grand Prix?

The 2021 Styrian Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, July 4. Cars will take to the track on Friday for practice, with FP3 and qualifying taking place on the Saturday.

Where is the Austrian Grand Prix taking place? 

The 2021 Austrian Grand Prix is held at the Red Bull Ring.

The circuit is 4.326km (2.688 mi) and consists of 10 corners.

All 23 races this season are being shown exclusively live on Sky Sports F1, while extended highlights will be shown on Channel 4 later in the evening.
