British Grand Prix - Driver Ratings

Sebastian Vettel’s fourth win of the 2018 F1 campaign sees him push out his championship lead to eight points on Lewis Hamilton but there was plenty of action up and down the grid.

After Hamilton’s first-lap tangle with Kimi Raikkonen, the British driver battled his way up the order to recover to second behind Vettel. Raikkonen, who was slapped with a 10-second time penalty for clashing with Hamilton, also produced an impressive drive to take third place ahead of Valtteri Bottas who found no luck again as his tyres gave up to drop him to fourth.

There was action aplenty up and down the field with a bodged pit stop for F1 star rookie Charles Leclerc while two Safety Car periods were triggered by Marcus Ericsson crashing at Turn 1 plus Romain Grosjean and Carlos Sainz Jr crashing into each other a few laps after the restart.
