Drugovich dominates F2 sprint race to take points lead in Barcelona
Starting from fourth on the grid, Drugovich made a storming start and claimed the lead into Turn 1.
The Brazilian made the most of the vacant grid position left by Trident's Calan Williams, who stalled on the start and was forced to start from the pit lane.
From then on, Drugovich controlled the race from the front, nailing the Safety Car restart following Juri Vips' mistake.
It means that Drugovich has moved into the lead of the drivers' standings on 61 points, five ahead of Theo Pourchaire, who finished fifth.
Ayumu Iwasa finished a superb second in the DAMS, finishing just 2.1s behind at the chequered flag.
Williams F1 junior Logan Sargeant finished third - his first podium in the series - in what was a strong drive for the American driver.
Jehan Daruvala finished fourth ahead of Theo Pourchaire, while Jack Doohan, Frederik Vesti and Enzo Fittipaldi rounded out the points-paying positions in the sprint race.
Liam Lawson and Marcus Armstrong battled hard to ninth and tenth respectively.
It was mostly an uneventful race with Barcelona once again proving tricky to overtake at.
Going into the feature race, Drugovich has a five-point lead over Pourchaire, while Daruvala is in third, 20 points off the lead.
Liam Lawson completes the top four on 35 points ahead of Verschoor (32 points) and Ralph Boschung (32 points) who has been forced to sit out of this round due to neck pain.
