Euro: Bianchi accident delays race

The latest round of the Formula 3 Euroseries has been postponed until later in the day after an accident involving Jules Bianchi and Tiago Geronimi prompted a lengthy stoppage.

The drivers clashed at Paddock Hill Bend as Bianchi was attempting to overtake the Brazilian, the pair locking wheels and spearing into the tyre barriers.

Both drivers were taken to the medical centre, but neither have incurred any major injuries.

The remaining 18 minutes of the race, which was being led by Mika Maki at the time, will be held at 16.00GMT.
