Lewis to test with Manor.

Having recently dipped his toe in the waters of the British Formula Three Championship, talented teenager Ryan Lewis has confirmed that he is to test with former champion Manor Motorsport ahead of the 2004 season.

Lewis, who secured the Formula Palmer Audi title before embarking on a combined race and test programme in both Formula Renault and F3, has already run with series newcomers Team SYR, but has now received an invitation to test with Manor, with whom he ran in the final few rounds of the FRenault series.

Lewis will continue what has already been an intensive programme of F3 testing with a two-day outing at Croft tomorrow and Wednesday, when he will run in both a Championship Class car and a Scholarship Class alternative.

"I'm really looking forward to testing with Manor, as they one of the country's top teams," Lewis said, "It will be interesting to see how things go. My first full day out, with Team SYR, went really well and I'm looking forward to getting some more laps in."

Lewis has admitted that he intends to move up the racing ladder next season, with FRenault and F3 both still on the agenda.
