Bridgman injured following fire at home.
Hitech Racing driver Tim Bridgman could be forced to miss the latest round of the British F3 International Series at Mondello Park after being injured in an accident at his home yesterday [Wednesday].
The 20-year-old was airlifted to Chelmsford Hospital after receiving burns to his abdomen and right arm while dealing with a fire in his yard, but was discharged after being treated for 20 per cent burns to his abdomen.

Despite the accident, Bridgman will still head to Ireland, although his participation in this weekends two races will be dependent on whether or not the reigning Formula BMW champion feels fit enough to take his place on the track.
"I plan to take it a step at a time," he said. "I am hoping I will be able to complete the full racing schedule, but obviously this will depend on how the injury is recovering.
"I will be disappointed if I am unable to give it my best effort this weekend."
Regardless of whether or not he does participate at Mondello this weekend, Bridgman aims to return to full fitness for the final round of the year at Silverstone in three weeks' time.
