Walker 'frustrated' with Mugello results.
James Walker was left frustrated at Mugello after another difficult weekend of racing that saw the Hitech driver fail to secure the front-running results he craves.
Walker qualified in seventh position for the opening race of the weekend and took advantage of a tangle involving the leaders at the first corner to move into fourth place. However he was pushed wide at the second corner and a trip through the gravel dropped him down to twelfth. Although he would drive hard for the rest of the race, he had to settle for an eighth place finish when the chequered flag came out.

Heavy overnight rain and continuing drizzle made track conditions treacherous at for the second race on Sunday, with Walker lining up eighth on the grid. However he made a fine start and was quickly up to fourth place ahead of Yelmer Buurman. However his race would come to an early end when Buurman locked up and went off - taking Walker with him and putting both out of the race.
"It was a good battle with Yelmer," Walker said. "He tried to get past me a couple of times but only had the speed to do it at the end of the lap; I could pull away again after that. Going into the last corner he carried too much speed and went straight into the back of me and that was it, we were both out. I can only imagine he locked up.
"It's frustrating as the start was great and we were on for a good result today."
