Sergio Perez enjoyed another fine weekend of competition in the British F3 International Series in Romania as the Mexican secured a pair of top two finishes in the National Class on the streets of Bucharest.

Perez qualified in third place in class for the opening race of the weekend and quickly moved into second place before settling for the place behind race winner Michael Meadows. However, having overcame a clash with Hamad Al Fardan to take pole for the second race, Perez then led all the way to secure a win that allows him to close to within five points of series leader Frankie Cheng.

T-Sport's Championship Class runner Rodolfo Gonzalez climbed up from 16th to finish tenth in the opening race and looked set to finish inside the top five in race two before a penalty for aggressive driving dropped him down to tenth after the race was run.

"They were good results again for Sergio," T-Sport team principal Russell Eacott said. "It's unfortunate that Rodolfo's race two result has been affected by the officials, but once again his race pace has been good. We need to work hard now and improve in qualifying."
