Team Aguri secures Gulf as title sponsor

Team Aguri has secured Gulf as its new title sponsor in the FIA Formula E championship and will run a fresh livery with the iconic orange and blue racing colours at this weekend's Mexico ePrix.

The deal has been struck through Gulf's Mexican Fuel Licensee, IF Vertical 2, and marks the company's first involvement in the all-electric championship. The team's kit and car has been given a refreshed look with a new orange and blue design and Marc Faggionato, Team Aguri owner, is delighted to secure the new deal.

"To work with a global brand such as Gulf is a real coup for the team, and reinforces our commitment to driving the development of the future automotive technologies that will become commonplace in the road cars of tomorrow," Faggionato said. "We are excited about our partnership and look forward to forging a strong and lasting relationship."

Mexico is gearing up for its inaugural Formula E race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on the 12th March.
