Sarrazin replaces Filiberti at Monaco.
The Prost F3000 team has announced that series veteran Stephane Sarrazin will stand in for Nicolas Filiberti at this weekend's Monaco round.
There is no suggestion that Filiberti has been released from his contract with the team, with an official statement citing personal reasons as the cause of his absence this weekend. The Argentine has struggled to find his feet in F3000 so far this year, his first in the grand prix feeder class.

Sarrazin raced successfully for Prost in F3000 during both the 1998 and 1999 seasons, before leaving for the West Competition squad in 2000. This return to the French team will be a one-off, however, as team boss Alain Prost seeks to make full use of his countryman's experience at the toughest track on the calendar.
Having quit the class midway through last year, Sarrazin now has other commitments in the sport, including a drive with the works Chrysler prototype at Le Mans.
