The oil company recently announced its backing of the Turkish Grand Prix, and has now extended its backing to the chief feeder series, allowing Formula Renault midfielder Tahinci to bypass Formula Three and join FMS for 2006.
Both Tahinci and Filippi have signed two-year deals with the team to coincide with the sponsorship deal, allowing them a learning year before concerted title assaults in 2007.
"We have been approached by Petrol Ofisi to create a very interesting programme," Fisichella explained, "They are keen to support new Turkish drivers as much as we are firmly interested in pushing Italian talent. With such a common objective, it has been quite easy to find an agreement.
"For the last three months, FMS International has concentrated in putting together a very competitive technical package and now we aim to push our two young drivers to victory."
