Blundell Nazareth crash - update.
Mark Blundell has apparently escaped serious injury after crashing out of the Nazareth CART round.
The Englishman collided with Penske's Helio Castro-Neves in Turn One of the Pennsylvania circuit, scattering bodywork and mechanicals from both cars across a wide section of track. Although Castro-Neves was able to recount his side of the incident to reporters in the pits, Blundell had to be helped from his PacWest-run car, and was taken to the circuit's medical centre.

Thankfully, the official CART Radio Network broadcast from Nazareth has reported that Blundell escaped the impact with heavy bruising to his upper back, and should be released from the hospital before the end of the race.
