Sharp wins IRL thriller.
Anyone who witnessed the Casino Magic 500 at Texas will have forgiven whoever was responsible for the race being delayed for a day by rain.
As if to say thank-you to the loyal fans who trekked back to the Texas Motor Speedway for a second consecutive day, the IRL put on a superb show that culminated in Scott Sharp inching out Robby McGehee by 59 thousandths of a second to claim his fifth IRL series victory.
The race featured 31 driver changes amongst eight different drivers and was graced with not a single accident in what was a tremendous advert for the series.
