The team have drifted in and out of the IRNLS since 1998 but have always found sponsorship difficult to find. Now Coulson is hoping that Guerrero's experience will not only allow the team to become successful but also attract long term sponsor deals.

"We're almost looking at this as a pre-season. Of course we want to do the best we can every time out, but we want to go the whole year next year," said Coulson who has purchased a year old chassis from the Dick Simon team for Guererro. "We're still building our team too. That's the hardest part about running an operation like this is finding a team that meshes and works well together."

Guerrero has been part of the IRNLS scene since its' inception in 1996. The ex-Ensign F1 pilot was one of the few CART drivers to defect to the IRL and was one of the biggest names in the category during the first two years of the series. Guerrero has been racing in America since the mid-1980's when his Formula One career came to a premature end. The 1987 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year has been one of the most popular faces in Indycar circles for over a decade and was one of the main inspirations for current CART Champion Juan Montoya.

However a race victory at Indianapolis has always eluded him and after competing in the final two rounds of this year's IRNLS Championship, Roberto is hoping for one last crack at the 'Big One'.
