Jourdain Junior to race in 2001.
Michel Jourdain Junior will return to the CART FedEx Championship this year as the driver of the Number 16 Herdez Betthenhausen entry.
Keith Wiggins managing director of the team said: "We have made the decision to have Michel drive for us. With all the engine failures we experienced last year, Michel had a frustrating season. We want to give him another chance."
"At the same time, we want to emphasize that Mario Dominguez, the other Herdez driver we tested, did an excellent job. He will remain very much involved in our future racing programme."
