Miller, a practicing dentist, will attempt to make his fourth Indianapolis 500 start this year. His best finish at Indy is 20th as a rookie in 1997. He also has been a frequent competitor in the Indy Racing Northern Light Series since 1997 and plans to make his season debut with Cahill Racing on April 28 at the Atlanta event.

There will be no shortage of motivation for Miller to make the starting field this year. In one of the most dramatic moments last year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Billy Boat bumped Miller from the starting field with less than one minute remaining on Bump Day, the final day of qualifications.

The 85th Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for May 27. Entries must be postmarked by April 11. All drivers will compete for one of the 33 starting spots in the world's most prestigious auto race.
