Kodiak to sponsor June qualifying at TMS.
Texas Motor Speedway yesterday announced that Conwood Sales Co, makers of Kodiak smokeless tobacco, would sponsor the June Qualifying Day for the IRL and Craftsman Truck races.
The Indy Racing Northern Light Series Casino Magic 500 and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly 400 at Texas in June 2000 both produced thrilling races, when Scott Sharp delivered the closest finish in Indy Racing history and Greg Biffle dominated the NASCAR truck race from start to finish. The 2001 edition of both races should be just as exciting, starting with the qualifying sessions for both events.

The Indy cars and the NASCAR trucks will be on track on Thursday 7 June to qualify for the weekend races, with the O'Reilly 400 truck race scheduled for Friday 8 June 8 at 2000, and the Casino Magic 500 set for Saturday night, at 1930.
