Redon released from hospital.

Indy Racing League rookie Laurent Redon was released May 27 from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, said Dr. Henry Bock, Indy Racing League director of medical services.

Redon, from Lyon, France, suffered a concussion May 26 in an accident with Buddy Lazier in Turn 2 on Lap 199 of the 86th Indianapolis 500.

Bock has not yet cleared Redon to drive in next week's Boomtown 500. An evaluation of the driver will be done later this week, said Bock.
