Dixon to pilot Coors 'Silver Bullet' in Denver.

Target Chip Ganassi Racing will feature a new paint scheme for the Shell Grand Prix of Denver this weekend, as Colorado-based brewer Coors features on the #44 Lola-Toyota driven by Scott Dixon.

The familiar silver-and-black paint scheme appears on Dixon's car following a string of strong performances from the young Kiwi. Robbed of a top five finish by mechanical problems at last weekend's Montreal event, the second-year pilot has nevertheless caught the eye since being snapped up by Ganassi following the withdrawal of PacWest earlier in the season.

So far this year, the 22-year old sophomore has recorded seven top-ten finishes in ten races, and admits he is proud to carry the colours of Coors Light this weekend.

"It's great to have a company like Coors on board for the Denver race," Dixon said, "The car just looks fast, even when it's standing still. I'm proud to carry their colours
this weekend to show our appreciation. I can't wait to get this thing out on the streets of Denver and bring home a victory for Team Target and Coors."

The Coors-Ganassi link-up came about through an existing sponsorship arrangement with Ganassi's #40 NASCAR entry, and Steve Saunders, director of event marketing for the brewer, is excited to have the opportunity to showcase the colours of Coors Light in another arena this weekend.

"Coors has been a long-time sponsor of racing," he said, "We are proud to call Denver home, and what better way to show our support than to feature a Coors Light car in our hometown race - the Shell Grand Prix of Denver. Scott Dixon is a talented driver and we're excited to have him pilot the 'Silver Bullet' car this weekend."
