Dollansky fractures back, but in good condition.

World of Outlaws star Craig Dollansky made an impact on his Infiniti Pro Series debut last weekend but not the kind he wanted to after an early race accident left him nursing a fractured lower spine.

Dollansky crashed his #33 VMAC/Karavan Trailers sponsored Dallara-Infiniti on lap eleven of Saturday's rain-shortened start to the Freedom 100, which finished on Sunday while Dollansky lay in hospital.

As Ed Carpenter drove to victory Dollansky, who hit the SAFER barrier on the outside of turn two almost head on after losing control and over-adjusting his steering, was recovering from surgery on his lower back and was reported to be in good condition.
