Newman-Haas Racing's Sebastien Bourdais will carry McDonald's sponsorship for three races this year thanks to a tie in with co-owner Paul Newman that sees the world famous golden arches return to the Champ Car World Series for the first time since 1999.
McDonald's will join Eli Lilly & Company as the co-primary sponsor of the No. 2 Lola-Ford as an extension of their launch of the Premium Salads that feature Newman's Own Salad Dressing at races in Cleveland this weekend, Denver on August 31st and Miami on September 28th.

In March of this year, Newman, President and Founder of Newman's Own, Inc., and McDonald's announced an exclusive alliance to feature Newman's Own all natural salad dressings served with McDonald's new Premium Salads in restaurants nationwide. The McDonald's Newman/Haas sponsorship is an extension of McDonald's relationship with Paul Newman and Newman's Own, and the launch of McDonald's new Premium Salads with Newman's Own dressing that began April 21st nationwide in the United States.
The Newman/Haas race car will feature graphics of McDonald's Golden Arches and the Premium Salads logo.
