Fittipaldi to meet Brazi football squad in Miami.

Motor racing and football has long been a staple of Brazil's sporting pastime, producing great names over the years like Pele, Fittipaldi, Senna and most recently the world's finest footman, Ronaldo.

Among the great figures in Brazilian motorsport, Emerson Fittipaldi made a name for himself through the years as a wheelman in some of the most demanding racing machines in world. The former Formula One and CART champion still represents his native country as team owner for Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing in the Champ Car World Series, but on Friday night the racing legend will switch gears when he steps on the pitch and meets with members of Brazil's Men's National Team.

During the pre-game festivities for the semifinals of the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup, Fittipaldi will meet the Brazilian National soccer team before their battle with the U.S. National Team on Friday in the monstrous Orange Bowl in Miami.

The 1989 CART champion will be back in the Miami spotlight again September 26th-28th with his Fittipaldi-Dingman Champ Car squad for the second annual Grand Prix Americas presented by Sportsbook.com, Round 16 of the Bridgestone Presents The Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford.
