Skip Barber Racing's vice-president of Racing, Divina Galica, said: "With the Barber Dodge Pro Series on sabbatical, our focus in 2004 will be on making important improvements in many areas of the National Championship. FDNC is not to take its place, but there are benefits to this series that we want to make even more attractive to karters and other young racers. We will also have some exciting news to announce very soon regarding prize funds and scholarships."
The Formula Dodge National Championship Presented by RACER is owned and operated by Skip Barber Racing, Lakeville.
The series employs 26 identically prepared 150hp 2.0-litre, sequential gearbox, wings-and-slicks Formula Dodge single seat race cars. A full season of 14 races [seven race weekends] costs $37,800 [E29,776; UK?20,500].
