Indianapolis 500 - Entry list.
Two former race winners - Helio Castroneves and Al Unser Jr - head up the list of entries for this year's 88th Indianapolis 500 and, coincidentally, both will be seeking their third win in the event.
In all 35 entries, most of which have back-ups entered too, comprise the provisional list, with Castroneves and Unser being joined by two other former polewinners - Greg Ray and Scott Sharp - five rookies -Ed Carpenter, Darren Manning, Kosuke Matsuura, Marty Roth and Mark Taylor - and an almost equal mix of American and overseas drivers.

The youngest entrant is, again, AJ Foyt IV, still only 19 years of age, while rookie Roth graduates from the supporting Infiniti Pro Series at the age of 45.
Unser Jr is the most experienced man in the field, attempting his 17 start in the event.
