Hornish gets hitched.

Double IRL IndyCar Series Champion Sam Hornish Jr was able to put his latest Indy 500 disappointment behind him last weekend when he married Crystal Liechty.

The ceremony between the 24 year-old Marlboro Team Penske driver and Liechty took place at the Scottish Rice Cathedral in Indianapolis on Saturday and the newlyweds have just a couple of days to enjoy their status before setting off for the Texas Motor Speedway and Saturday night's Bombardier 500.

While a honeymoon is nearly impossible for the couple during the busy summer months, the Hornish's will have time to escape to Las Vegas for a brief break following Saturday's race.
