Incorporating the TAG Heuer and Indy 500 logos, it features a black dial with four metallic circles resembling the famous 2.5-mile IMS oval and a fine-brushed stainless steel bracelet with a double safety clasp.

Inscribed on the caseback of the 2005 Indy 500 Chronograph is: "The Official Timekeeper and Scorer of the Indy 500 and Indy Racing League."

TAG Heuer's partnership with the IRL and Indianapolis 500, which officially launched in February 2004, entails working closely with the IRL Timing and Scoring to develop, design and implement a variety of timekeeping applications for scorekeeping purposes and for enhancing the spectator's experience during the Indianapolis 500 and other IRL races.

Included is TAG Heuer's state-of-the art software that couples with IRL technology to measure time to one-10,000th of a second - a measurement 10 times more precise than the one-1,000th of a second standard for Formula One and other professional racing events - taking motor racing to new levels of split-second accuracy.

TAG Heuer's timing and scoring system will be put the test at the 89th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 29th.
