New IRL team Playa Del Racing have revealed a new associate sponsor for Jaques Lazier in the upcoming Indy 500.
Action Gaming, the leading provider of video poker products in the United States gaming industry, will now have a major associate presence on Lazier's #21 Panoz-Toyota for the remainder of the 89th 'Month of May.'
Playa Del Racing vice president and co-owner, Susan Schafer, along with fellow co-owner Gary Sallee, believe the addition of Action Gaming brings another exciting partner to the PDR team.
"Action Gaming is the leader in its industry," stated Schafer. "Founder and President Ernie Moody is a dynamic businessman and sportsman whose knowledge and experience bring added value to our growing relationship. Playa Del Racing looks forward to a rewarding and fun on- and off-track experience for everyone involved."
Moody is bringing his love of competition to motor racing for the first time. His horse-racing venture, Mercedes Stables, has been a key player in the highest levels of that sport for years.
"I have a love for and attraction to competing in historic races," an enthusiastic Moody explained. "My horse, Rock Hard Ten, recently won the Santa Anita Handicap! I couldn't be more excited to bring that love of competition to IndyCar racing and to the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" as part of the Playa Del Racing team. Gary Sallee and Susan Schafer have assembled a team that appears to be ready to join the fight for victory."
Lazier will resume practice for the May 29th running of the Indy 500 on Wednesday as he prepares to qualify for the greatest spectacle in racing next weekend.
