Dreyer & Reinbold sign Medeiros for season finale.
Former Menards Infiniti Pro Series Champion Thiago Medeiros will make his IRL IndyCar Series debut in the final round of the 2005 season after concluding a deal to enter a second car run by the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing outfit.
Brazilian born Medeiros will team with D&R's regular driver Roger Yasukawa in the season ending Toyota Indy 400 on October 16th at the California Speedway in a second Dallara-Honda run by the veteran team.

Last year Medeiros dominated the MIPS championship, winning half of the twelve races for Sam Schmidt Motorsports but couldn't raise the budget to move into the IRL Series full time. However with sponsorship from two Brazilian based companies now in place, Medeiros finally gets a chance to showcase his abilities on a bigger stage.
The addition of Medeiros to the ranks should bring the total entry for the season finale to 24.
