New owner Cedric entertains potential backers.

Champ Car's newest team owner, Cedric the Entertainer introduced his business partners and acquaintances from the entertainment world to his latest venture when he and the team held a CTE Racing cocktail party at the luxurious Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills last weekend.

Guests discussed the benefits of CTE Racing sponsorship opportunities and the wide range of business-to-business relationships available. With one of the team's cars resplendent in its new livery, Cedric made good on his undertaking to introduce the entertainment world to HVM Racing and several exciting connections were forged during the star-studded evening.

Cedric, who is planning to take part in the Pro-Celebrity race at the Long Beach event in 2006, enjoyed a moment of friendly competition by strapping Frankie Muniz, star of "Malcolm in the Middle" and winner of this year's Pro-Celebrity race into the CTE Racing HVM race car and challenging Frankie to drive the 750 hp masterpiece!
