Medeiros joins forces with defecting PDM Racing.
Former Indy Racing League outfit, PDM Racing has announced that 2004 Infiniti Pro Series champion Thiago Medeiros will join them in their debut season competing in the prestigious USAC Silver Crown sprint race series.
Having gotten behind the wheel of a Silver Crown car for the first time at the Homestead Motor Speedway, Medeiros stated his desire to compete with the team, an IRL mainstay until the end of last year, and partner Rodney Weesner and Aaron Pierce on the remaining 'pavement' events of the year.

"This is an exciting opportunity for me, and I can't wait to get started at Homestead," said Medeiros. "This is definitely a different type of racing than what I have been accustomed to, but that's one of the things that is attractive to me, along with competing with great competitors like Dave Steele and Brian Tyler. Silver Crown is a step in the right direction for the consolidation of my career in the US."
