Tracy hit with penalties for Denver incident.
Paul Tracy has been hit with a three point penalty and a $25,000 fine for the incident late on in the Grand Prix of Denver that forced both the Canadian and Newman Haas driver Sebastien Bourdais to retire.
Bourdais was battling back through the field having suffered tyre problems on his middle stint, and looked set to finish second after pulling ahead of his Tracy's ailing car on the final lap - only for the Forsythe drive to collect Bourdais while trying to reclaim the place at the final corner.

With Tracy Already on probation for his part in the retirement of both his own car and that of Alex Tagliani last time out in San Jose, Bourdais called on race officials to act and an unrepentant Tracy was duly punished.
As well as his fine and points penalty, Tracy will also see his probation extended by a further race, meaning it will now also cover the Lexmark Indy 300 at Surfers Paradise in October.
