FA: Brooks Associates welcomes back Harvey.
Brooks Associates Racing has announced that engineer Nick Harvey is re-joining the team for 2007 Champ Car Atlantic Championship season.
Harvey worked with the team during its successful 2005 season in the Champ Car Atlantic Championship. Engineering the car driven by Andreas Wirth, Harvey helped the Brooks squad earn its first Atlantic win when Wirth captured the chequered flag at Denver. Wirth went on to finish sixth in the series championship that season after missing the final two events of the year due to injury.

In 2006, Harvey switched to Forsythe Championship Racing where he again teamed with Wirth and helped the young German racer earn two wins on his way to finishing third in the championship. Harvey began 2007 - his eleventh year in the Atlantic series - once again working for the Forsythe team before joining Brooks Associates Racing this week.
"We're very happy to have Nick back working with us this season," team owner John Brooks said. "He will lead our engineering efforts and we certainly hope to recapture the successful formula we had with Nick in 2005. Because of his track record and winning background, we're sure that Nick's presence will help attract some of the top-level driving talent that's still searching for an experienced Atlantic team to compete with in 2007."
After participating in the first Atlantic open test of the season in Sebring, Florida, the Brooks team will not field an entry in this weekend's series test at MSR Houston but will return to the track on 7-8 March at Laguna Seca for the final pre-season test of the year.
