Briscoe set for Indy with Luczo-Dragon.
The little-known Luczo-Dragon Racing team was among the late entries for this year's Indianapolis 500, after it was confirmed that IndyCar Series veteran Ryan Briscoe will attempt to qualify the #12 Symantec-backed Dallara-Honda for the 2007 race.
The team, which is co-owned by Jay Penske and Steve Luczo, will lease equipment from Penske Racing Inc for its first attempt on the blue riband event.

"I look forward to my first year as a team owner, and knowing what a unique opportunity it will be to participate in the Indianapolis 500," Luczo said, "Jay and I have been
great friends, share a competitive resolve to win, and that, combined with the support of the Penske organisation, we believe will enable us to field a highly competitive entry for this years Indy 500."
Briscoe, a former F1 test driver, is currently racing for Penske and Porsche in the American Le Mans Series, but competed in the 2005 Indianapolis 500, starting 24th and finished tenth for Target Chip Ganassi Racing.
"I want to thank Symantec and Luczo-Dragon Racing for the opportunity to return to the greatest spectacle in racing," the Australian said, "My experience at the Speedway provides me with a lot of confidence as I head into my second month of May at Indianapolis. I am looking forward to the chance to build on what I experienced as a rookie."
Luczo-Dragon has named Jay Signore, president of the currently suspended International Race of Champions, as team manager.
