Creation Autosportif has retained the services of super-quick Anglo-French duo Jamie Campbell-Walter and Nicolas Minassian for its 2005 campaign, which is expected again combine the Le Mans Endurance and American Le Mans series.

The British team was the only one to continuously challenge the various Audi R8s in this year's LMES, and will again wheel out the Zytek DBA4-03S in the European championship and a further, yet to be confirmed, programme of international races. The blue car finished ahead of all prototype competitors bar the two Audi teams in the 2004 LMES, and surprised many with pole position at both the Nurburgring and Spa 1000kms, before going on to repeat the feat at Laguna Seca's ALMS finale.

Minassian proved to be one of the revelations of the LMES in 2004, and the 31-year old admits that he is delighted to be continuing with the small, tight-knit prototype team.

"To re-sign with Creation and have some continuity is exactly what I wanted," the Frenchman insisted, "The team is a professional organisation with a very competitive spirit - all they want is to win and this is what I want as well. We all get on well, like a second family, and I am really looking for to 2005."

Campbell-Walter joined Creation after several seasons with the Lister GT and prototype programmes, but is also looking forward to continuity in 2005.

"After four very successful years with Lister, I know what that can mean," the 31-year old former FIA GT champion admitted, "You work better as a team when you all know each other inside out, and your relationship with your driving partner almost becomes second nature - you understand each other so well. I'm really happy that Nic and I will be driving together again and I'm confident we'll have a successful year."

The Creation team plans a test and development programme for the Zytek over the winter months, aimed primarily at improving reliability and durability for next season.
