Turkey to host '05 LMES finale.
Le Mans Endurance Series organisers have now announced that the provisional fifth date on the LMES calendar will be filled by a race in Turkey.
The event in Istanbul will be the final round of the 2005 LMES season and is due to be held on 15/16 October.
"Istanbul is an exciting new addition to the 2005 LMES calendar," John Ingram, driver for the LMP2 team Tracsport said following the announcement. "Dudley Wood, our team manager, and I are very much looking forward to the challenge. This opportunity gives Tracsport some very interesting new avenues to explore."

The race is subject to the approval of the FIA World Council.

9-10 July: 1000 km Monza
12-13 August: 1000 km Silverstone
3-4 September: 1000 km Nurburgring
15-16 October: 1000 km Istanbul
